Most scratchers are something you tolerate. These are three simple posts of natural sisal rope, wound tightly around a solid core and finished at both ends with oiled oak, the rope ends tucked and pinned so they will not unravel.
The three heights give a cat a choice: a long post for a full stretch, a middle one for everyday scratching, and a short one that is easy to reach from the floor or the sofa. Stand them together in a corner, or put one wherever your cat already likes to scratch. When the sisal has been worn down, a post can be rewrapped.
