Cut from a single strip of English bridle leather, this lead starts out firm and slightly waxy, then slowly gives way to the shape of your grip. The edges are bevelled and burnished by hand, so there is nothing sharp to catch on your fingers when your dog pulls toward something interesting.
The trigger clip and D-ring are solid brass. They will dull to a warm, soft patina rather than flake or rust.
